Position :- Principal Blockchain Engineer

About the role :-
Meta Carbon seeks a Principal blockchain Engineer to build and lead a team of dedicated engineers, and developers spanning across blockchain, token and NFT ecosystems. As a blockchain lead and developer, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes technical design, implementation, documentation,testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for our product needs.

Responsibilities :-

1. Responsible for building, steering, and maintaining blockchain services by providing guidance, vision & leadership, set product strategy, and direction
2. Participating and leading in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshooting, and documenting software applications
3. Ensuring that the technical software development process is followed on the project, and being familiar with industry best practices for software development
4. Demonstrating the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels

Qualifications :-

1. You have 4+ years of experience developing software
2. You have experience building and deploying software in the cloud, preferably AWS
3. You are an experienced programmer in at least two languages and know how and when to apply functional and object oriented concepts (i.e. JavaScript, C++, Java, Python)
4. You have experience building and maintaining ecommerce, payment, auction, trading platforms, or similar where security and keeping customer funds safe is imperative
5. You have experience in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and NFTs
