Web3 Product Manager - Fintech (Remote)

Location: AR Culpepper US

Product Manager - Fintech
up to $100K CAD/per month
Location: Canada
New Silver is a fintech startup that sits at the intersection of Decentralised Finance and real world assets. We build technology to originate and underwrite short term bridge loans with more efficiency, and securitize those loans on the blockchain with capital from DeFi protocols, helping to reduce costs and make capital more efficient.
We are the first real world asset in the world to be approved by MakerDAO, a top-3 stablecoin protocol. Our small and rapidly growing company is globally located and fully remote. New Silver’s mission is to enable entrepreneurial growth by providing real estate investors with fast, conveniently accessible capital, and by harnessing technology to improve investors' journey, from property search to sale.
About You:
You are a driven, motivated person who loves to build new stuff. You love progress, finance and technology, all at the same time. You are creative, passionate and not afraid of change. Importantly, you don’t need a manager to oversee you, you are independent and goal-driven. You take pride in the work that you do, and love to come up with new things to build. You are data-driven, love talking to customers, problem solving their issues, and translating that to business use-cases that technology can help solve.
Your Role:
You will have a key role in our rapidly growing, fast-paced organisation. You will be responsible for thoroughly understanding our technology and financial products, and become a subject matter expert on how our financing and technology work, what the user journey is, etc. You will work with the development team and QA to create documentation, formalise processes, translate requirements from business to tech. You will help with creating user stories and drafting specification requirements for new product development. You will help the lending and risk managing teams document the finance, underwriting and other processes. You will create training material and conduct workshops with team members to help use the technology we build to the fullest.
