MetaMask is the fastest-growing Web3 wallet and we’re looking for a social media fox who will help take our social media presence to the moon!

As part of the Content and Communications team, you will work closely with the ConsenSys Social Media Manager and MetaMask Marketing to create high-quality copy and graphics with the aim to raise awareness and educate current and future MetaMask users. 

This role is an extremely important one; as someone who will be writing copy for and publishing on our social media platforms, you’ll play a part in dictating what MetaMask’s community of 30M+ users are exposed to. As such, it’s imperative to have a solid grasp of the nuances of cryptocurrency and communication.

You are an excellent team player, you love learning, you welcome feedback. You are also autonomous and are always ready to put your creativity, knowledge of Web3, and sense of humor on display by creating great copy and memes. 

Responsibilities 

• Learn and understand the MetaMask (and ConsenSys) brand voice and communicate appropriately on behalf of it
• Assist in the development of promotional social media plans for product releases, event presences, content publications, and more to engage the MetaMask community.
• Generate ideas and create content for MetaMask’s various social media platforms, including TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram
• Brainstorm ideas for campaigns surrounding announcements
• Co-host Twitter Spaces 
• Help create and streamline social media processes and procedures
• Gain understanding of what other crypt/web3 brands are doing on social media.

Must-haves

• Be an avid MetaMask user 
• Be knowledgeable about all things to do with MetaMask 
• 1+ year of running socials with a sizeable audience (25K+ followers on Twitter and/or TikTok)
• 1+ year in the crypto ecosystem 
• Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts
• A sense of humor coupled with a sense of decency (what is an acceptable meme?) 
• Strong familiarity with crypto twitter
• Excellent copywriting skills
• Healthy skepticism and a spidey sense

Good-to-haves

• Video editing and graphic design skills 
• Photography skills
