Web3 Sr. Director, Product Management

OUR VISION

In the new and exciting world of the decentralized internet, otherwise known as Web3, it is an individual’s fundamental right to own and control their digital identity. To ensure that the individual is paramount in Web3, we are developing a suite of applications to enable everyone to safely engage, take part, and transact in the emerging, decentralized world of the internet. Our platform centers on Web3 Identity and leverages that identity to provide individuals with secure digital asset storage and recovery, access to decentralized finance, the ability to prove ownership of their creations, and gateways to digital interactions and experiences – all to empower and benefit every Web3 user.

We believe that the decentralized nature of Web3 creates an opportunity for everyone to challenge the digital status quo—to own and control their identity, data, finances, creations, and future. This is the chance to get it right – to rally a movement of individuals so Web3 belongs to everyone, not to trillion-dollar companies. To fulfill this vision, we are seeking dynamic people who want to join us in leading the way to this new world.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Sr. Director, Product Management at Blockchains, you will drive consensus across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and various business stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Sr Executives, etc.) to set and lead the direction for our product roadmap. You’ll lead a small team of product managers to build Web3 ID and Web3 products that customers love, and the industry recognizes as the best in the market. Additional duties include but are not limited to:

  • Driving end-to-end product development strategy and process, from conception to launch, ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions that meet customer needs and align with the company's long-term goals while meeting regulatory/compliance mandates.
  • Partnering closely with senior management, engineering teams, and relevant stakeholders to define and align the product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Driving the product roadmap process by working closely with marketing, sales, and executive leadership teams that work cross-functionally to build and execute product release/roll-out plans.
  • Weighing difficult tradeoffs, considering product, customer, engineering, compliance, and security requirements against delivery time and resources.
  • Defining how we will measure the success and effectiveness of our products and driving the execution and continuous evaluation of those metrics.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

To ensure success, you must be focused on what matters most and ignore unimportant distractions. You have demonstrated skills of ownership and the ability to drive/release products that have made a positive impact that you are proud of. You have the demonstrated ability to build great PM teams and how to lead by influence across multiple departments in the company. You have a healthy blend of deep web3 technical knowledge with a customer-focused mindset and a strong passion for web3 and web3 ID. Besides, you have an insatiable curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask “why?”. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can timely communicate with clear expectations.

YOUR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

You have a technical degree in computer science or a related field. You possess 10+ years of experience working as a product manager and 3+ years managing product managers. You have previously built out a program management cycle managing multiple internal and external partners resulting in high-quality products and managed globally distributed developer teams and system integrators to scale delivery needs. You have experience working in a startup environment.
