The Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Director to join our Strategy Team. You will be responsible for shaping and executing on the company’s business and corporate development, which will be critical to developing the company’s business and increasing its value.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, shape, and recommend strategy to guide business development objectives and corporate partnership goals that align with Autograph’s core objectives.
- Identify and pursue “licensing out” opportunities with potential partners, leading development and working closely with Autograph’s business affairs in the negotiation of deal terms to then deliver the transactions and coordinate the ongoing relationships after.
- Maintain an active network of potential partners and develop/maintain/manage relationships with key contacts at these organizations.
- Develop and maintain a set of comprehensive business development and competitive landscape databases to support competitive intelligence efforts.
- Structure and lead due diligence for synergistic opportunities across Autograph’s partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong track record of experience leading business development activities and navigating deal transactions at entertainment or tech companies.
- Experience driving high-value deal development through to completed transactions and then coordinating ongoing relationships after the close of those transactions.
- Exceptional business acumen and judgement.
- Strong professional presence and ability to establish and maintain credibility with all relevant business stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and comfort representing the company in public settings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous business development or Partnerships experience in the entertainment or tech industries
- Knowledge of NFT space and experience with NFT community
- Knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrencies
