Weโre looking for a Chief of Staff at Caldera to work closely with our founding team as we build out the future of blockchain scalability. As Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for core aspects of the business' operations and gain exposure to all elements of running a startup.
About Caldera
Caldera enables dynamic, scalable blockchain experiences. Currently, dapps that are deployed to general-purpose blockchain compete with thousands of other applications for space on the network โ this can lead to congestion and high fees or even network outages.
Thatโs where we come in. Weโre building software that makes it easy for the most innovative blockchain applications to launch their own ultra-performant blockchains (rollups), enabling applications to own their ecosystem, scale to millions of users, and provide a superior user experience to their users.
As Chief of Staff at Caldera, you will:
- Act as the right hand to the CEO and founding team, assisting in strategic planning, goal-setting, and decision-making.
- Help coordinate internal and external communications, acting as a liaison between the founding team and other stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, fostering a strong company culture.
- Support the identification and management of key partnerships and relationships within the blockchain ecosystem.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for meetings, conferences, and investor relations.
- Manage some day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient processes and workflows across the organization.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and innovation of the company by actively participating in brainstorming and ideation sessions.
- Have prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, preferably in a similar Chief of Staff, operations, or consulting role.
- Demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels and functions.
- Have a strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
- Exhibit a proactive, results-oriented attitude, with a keen eye for detail.
- Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Have experience working in the blockchain or cryptocurrency space, particularly with rollups or other scaling solutions.
- Possess a strong network within the blockchain and cryptocurrency communities.
- Have experience in business development or fundraising for early-stage startups.
- Hold a degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, business, finance, or engineering.
