Job Summary
At Cool Cats LLC, we’re proud to offer innovative products that meet the needs and wants of our customers. You will help us continue to grow our offerings as an experienced VP of Technology to align our tech strategy with our vision. You'll lead a team who bring ideas, build prototypes, create interactive narration, and develop the mechanics. You'll support the design and writing of platforms that are easily maintainable, expandable, and comfortable to use, while injecting fun into the user experience. You will have experience leveraging technology from third parties. The ideal candidate will have a wide range of skills and qualifications that include more than just creative aspects and about strategic thinking and teamwork.

Reporting to
• CEO

Responsibilities
• Strategize on tech plans and processes.
• Interfacing with the CEO and designing the tech roadmap.
• Managing the tech team and doing task management, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Starting new R&D projects and helping mentor developers when blocked.
• Authoring technical platforms and leveraging technology to enhance the platforms.
• Acting as primary tech liaison with all stakeholders.
• Managing the development environment and repositories.
• Conducting technological analyses and research.
• Develop internal tools to help power live ops features.
• Lead a small, focused team of talented developers.
• Participate in and lead modern software engineer practices through design reviews, code reviews and post-mortem reports.
• Create foundational guidelines for tech and product.

Required Skills/Experience

● 5 years+ in senior technical leadership or management roles.
● Experience leading distributed teams.
● Experience building technical teams for organizational effectiveness Development.
● Experience in conducting technological analyses and research to define product strategy.
● Experience leading development projects and teams.
● Experience with using and deploying smart contracts (with Solidity or other contract language).
● Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud).
● Experience with agile development (Scrum).
● Ability to effectively manage multiple projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners.
● A self-starter mentality with the drive to learn and grow.
