DoubleZero is looking for a highly talented Head of Network Relations / Sales Engineer to join our team and lead our network growth efforts as we support the launch of the DoubleZero protocol.

This role is a unique mix of BD/partnerships and sales engineering, which for DoubleZero requires extensive technical networking knowledge. This person will play a major role in growing DoubleZero via 1:1 relationships.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 

• Leadership. Build Network Relations at DoubleZero from the ground up. You will have ownership over every aspect of the function, including building a team as appropriate. 

• Network adoption. Drive adoption of DoubleZero among its two key initial audiences: bandwidth contributors and node operators (eg. validators/RPCs/MEV systems). Use networking expertise to conduct technical evaluations and solve contributor problems.

• Technical knowledge. Understand the technical aspects of the protocol better than anyone on earth, so that you can help improve its design and ensure that contributors and users can integrate with it effectively.

• Travel. Visit in-person with contributors, validators, and other community stakeholders to work on their integrations with DoubleZero. Represent the protocol at industry events to grow interest among key figures in the space.

• Nexus of User + Engineering. Work with DoubleZero's stakeholders to understand their concerns and reduce knowledge gaps by providing feedback to DoubleZero's technical architects. Serve as the conduit of information so that the protocol and associated documentation meet the needs of those using DoubleZero.

• Enterprise growth. Understand and speak to the technical and financial needs of businesses, not just individual developers.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• 8+ years in sales engineering or similar roles, ideally in networking or related fields

• Knowledge of the validator ecosystem; or a genuine passion and drive to learn about the Web3 ecosystem

• Ability to deal with ambiguity; can bring structure and focus to complex questions.

• Ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.

• High technical acumen - you are ready to contribute to the technical development of the DoubleZero protocol by representing stakeholder interests as the technology scales.

DoubleZero is a decentralized, permissionless protocol that revolutionizes network performance for distributed systems like blockchain. The mission is simple: increase bandwidth and reduce latency.

DoubleZero increases bandwidth by filtering junk data that currently plagues validators and other network operators.
