Grass is a network sharing application that allows users to sell their unused internet bandwidth.

At Wynd we are focused on building the data layer of AI with our first product, Grass, a web extension that runs in a user's background and sells unused internet to artificial intelligence labs. By running a node with Grass, users become an integral part of AI's training process, and they are compensated accordingly. The growth of AI is a development of historic significance, and our goal is to distribute the benefits of its growth to everyone - putting the future of the web back in the hands of the people.

As we approach significant milestones and prepare for our major release, we're on the lookout for an APAC Growth Lead. This role is pivotal in amplifying our presence in Asia, educating potential users, and expanding our user base through strategic partnerships and community engagement.

Your day-to-day:

  • Lead and optimize marketing campaigns specifically tailored to the APAC market to maximize user acquisition and engagement.
  • Drive the creation and execution of innovative marketing strategies to elevate Grass's brand presence and user base in APAC.
  • Spearhead hiring efforts to identify and onboard country-specific leads, managing and guiding these leads to ensure the successful regional rollout of Grass.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop compelling, culturally resonant marketing materials and campaigns across various channels.
  • Utilize insights from market analysis, user feedback, and digital metrics to continuously refine and adapt marketing strategies to the dynamic APAC landscape.
  • Proactively identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, co-marketing opportunities, and community engagements that align with Grass's mission and growth objectives in APAC.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Grass within the APAC tech ecosystem, establishing the first point of contact for potential partners, users, and stakeholders.
  • Leverage your network and the Grass brand to attract top talent and partnerships, spearheading the effort to establish Grass as a leading company in the Crypto x AI space.

What Experience You Need:

  • 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, finance, or venture capital, with a strong preference for backgrounds in AI, data technologies, or the broader tech industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of the tech and startup landscapes in the APAC region, including regulatory environments, market trends, and key players.
  • Deep understanding of the AI and data ecosystem, paralleling the knowledge of blockchain technology seen in industries like DeFi, NFT-fi, and GameFi.
  • Fluency in one or more languages prevalent in the APAC region (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, etc.), facilitating smoother communication and engagement.
  • Proven track record of structuring complex partnerships and leading sales/BD/partnership teams, particularly in a tech
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to navigate multicultural environments.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and brand recognition in the APAC market.
  • Not afraid to work hard. Experienced in leading high-performance teams, with a strong emphasis on mentorship and team development.
  • Agile and adaptable, thriving in the fast-paced dynamics of a startup culture.
