We have a Sr. Associate/VP level opening in our London office to join our growing and dynamic legal entity control team.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Preparation, analysis, review and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to senior management, directors, and other key stakeholders under IFRS.
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements, including resolving technical accounting issues and disclosure requirements, and liaising with external auditors.
- Proactively seeking opportunities to improve our workflows, technology, and integrity of reporting information with a strong automation mindset.
- Take full ownership of legal entity reporting requirements.
- Keeping up-to-date with business and market developments of your entities and communicating this effectively to key stakeholders.
- Coordination with multiple teams across the firm - and across the globe - including trading, product control, ops, treasury, risk and FP&A in a collaborative and problem-solving capacity.
- Involvement in a broad range of department–wide projects and initiatives as well as cross-departmental initiatives.
- Preparation of tax reporting documents and working closely with the tax team to assist with filing requirements.
Your Qualifications/Attributes will include:
- ACCA or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 4 years post qualification experience in legal entity controller role in finance.
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL and/or VBA (preferable).
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skillsCommercial acumen, and good eye for detail.
- Good communication and team player.
