About the Opportunity

OKX is looking for a Data Governance Manager to ensure the quality and accuracy of data across all company layers. This role involves thoroughly investigating daily data issues, identifying root causes, and applying data governance frameworks to enhance the long-term quality and completeness of our data. Ultimately, you will contribute to improving the overall experience for data users.

What You'll Be Doing:

Identify root causes of data issues, resolving them to prevent recurrence and enhance data reliability. Collaborate closely with data, backend, and frontend engineers to initiate and lead data governance projects, ensuring a robust and scalable data infrastructure. Optimize data governance frameworks by leveraging data quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure project success. Partner with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to gather feedback, ensuring a seamless user experience and driving user satisfaction improvements.

What We Look For In You:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in Data Governance, or related field.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders. Extensive experience in data governance, with a deep understanding of Big Data architectures and platforms such as Databricks, Alibaba MaxCompute, and similar technologies. Strong problem-solving abilities, adept at navigating complex technical challenges in a rapidly evolving environment. Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.

Nice to Have

You have a strong interest in Crypto / Web3 industry Proficient in Chinese language will be a plus to communicate with some chinese speaking engineers
