World Fuel Services is looking for a visionary and high energy lead UI Developer to help drive the development and delivery of our front-end applications.In this role you will work as part of ahighly collaborative Agilesoftware delivery teamcomposed of product leads, business analysts, developers, quality assurance engineers and aviation experts.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, implement and maintain front-end applications using Angular.

Work closely with business stakeholders and leads to elaborate and refine stories for the team.

Perform technical and design reviews with other team members to ensure quality and software engineering best practices are followed by the team.

Participate in the domain’s design and architecture review board to review, showcase and advise team technical designs as well as designs from other teams within the domain.

Participate in chapters and guilds for front-end development and other areas of interest.

Ensure design patterns are documented and enforced within the team.

Responsible for development, quality, and triage of production issues.
Key Qualifications
-
8+ years of Angular experience.

Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3+, Web Architecture, and other W3C core web standards.

Comprehensive knowledge of Angular.

Experience with RxJS or RxJS with Redux or NgRx.

Experience in developing responsive UI's.

Experience in developing enterprise web applications.

Experience with front-end unit testing.

Experience with front-end performance metrics and optimization techniques.

Experience with Agile development process.

Experience with monitoring/logging and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and New Relic.

Experience with feature management tools such as Jira or Azure Boards.

Experience guiding/leading/coaching/mentoring development team on UI development best practices with Angular.
Nice to have

Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD and supporting tools for Angular applications

Knowledge or experience with Micro Frontend architecture implementation.
Education
-
BA/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or a related discipline or demonstrated similar experience.
Geographic Scope & Travel Requirements

Flexible work arrangement (remote or hybrid).

Occasional travel of short to moderate duration for training, team building, industry trade shows or customer support.

Must be able to work core business hours 9-3pm EST.
