What you’ll be responsible for:

The Operations Director, France will spearhead Circle’s footprint in France and will serve as a principal resource with responsibility for Circle France’s growth and development. You will focus on the daily management of our operations as well as overseeing the overall management of all processes and partnerships related to our HR, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, and Legal teams as needed in France. This position will act as one of the primary operations contacts for various international teams throughout Europe, the US, APAC, and more as part of our continued growth.

What you'll work on:

  • Act as a key member of Circle France where they understand the key components of generating business development leads for other members of the supporting team.
  • Assist in managing commercial relationships with ecosystem partners who will help us prove the usefulness of stablecoins and the underlying technology.
  • Maintain strong working relationships within the various international departments in HR, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, and Legal; run habitual meetings with counterparts across the various departments such as strategy and marketing.
  • Oversee and execute projects related to station improvements, ensuring seamless implementation and cross-team collaboration while educating the team on ongoing developments and new partnerships.
  • Design effective processes and structures to meet complex external demands and to ensure streamlined communication flows internally.
  • Support central teams to implement key initiatives in your market. This may involve tasks such as assisting in the setup of local energy contracts or data brokers.
  • Represent the interests of Circle France both locally and internationally.

What you’ll bring to Circle:

  • 15+ years experience in a combined role of business development, partnership, and/or operations within a regulated environment.
  • Excellent understanding of the a combination of FinTech, RegTech, or Crypto in a role forced in operations, business development, or partnerships.
  • Proven communication skills between different business levels, teams and regions; fluent in French + English.
  • Has maintained a high level view while focusing on the detailed aspects of the processes specific to your organization.
  • A demonstrated track record of contributing to the development of the sales process, the articulation of the value proposition, and the creation of key tools and assets.
  • You are naturally curious and care deeply about understanding your customer’s business strategy and can engage in strategic conversations at multiple levels of the organization.
