About the Role:

As a GameDev Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and translating business needs into effective technical and gameplay solutions, with a focus on GameFi and Web3 ecosystems. Working closely with stakeholders, game designers, developers, and product managers, you will define requirements, optimize processes, and facilitate the successful execution of blockchain-based gaming projects. Your deep understanding of gaming mechanics, player behavior, monetization strategies, and blockchain technology will help drive our vision of creating immersive, decentralized, and player-owned gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for GameFi and Web3 gaming initiatives.

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with the overall game design, blockchain integration, and development strategy.

- Create detailed process flows, player journey maps, and system architecture diagrams to illustrate game mechanics, blockchain interactions, and decentralized solution frameworks.

- Use diagramming software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or similar tools) to visualize complex workflows, blockchain systems, and technical designs.

- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analysis to support project scoping and planning for blockchain-based games.

- Work closely with game designers, developers, and blockchain architects to ensure that technical solutions meet business and player needs.

- Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations for process improvements, player engagement strategies, and tokenomics optimization.

- Stay current on gaming industry trends, GameFi innovations, Web3 technologies, and player behavior insights, applying knowledge to enhance the company's game offerings.

- Develop detailed use cases, user stories, and workflows for **GameFi** features, such as play-to-earn mechanics, NFT integration, and decentralized asset ownership.

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure solutions are tested, validated, and meet requirements.

- Document and communicate complex technical, gameplay, and blockchain concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Applied Math, or a related field.

- English at C1 or higher.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.

- 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role within the gaming or blockchain industry.

- Good knowledge of diagramming software and tools for visualizing workflows and systems.

- Strong understanding of game development processes, including game mechanics, monetization models (e.g., F2P, subscriptions), and live ops strategies.

- Experience in GameFi and Web3 ecosystems, including play-to-earn mechanics, NFT integration, and decentralized gaming platforms.

- Basic understanding of in blockchain technology, including EVM-compatible chains (L1/L2s).

- Experience in data analysis and player behavior modeling, with proficiency in tools like SQL, Excel, Tableau, or game analytics platforms (e.g., Unity Analytics, Google Analytics).

- Familiarity with business analysis frameworks, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.

- Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate complex technical, gameplay, and blockchain requirements into actionable business plans.
