Bitcoin Depot is looking for a Senior IT Specialist with specialized expertise in Azure cloud environments, Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf to oversee, secure, and optimize our infrastructure supporting Bitcoin Depot’s products and business-critical applications. This role will lead internal and external technical teams, manage cloud and transactional operations systems, and ensure rigorous security standards are met.  Experience with management,  monitoring, and securing cloud infrastructure and transactional operations systems.  Bitcoin Depot is the largest Bitcoin ATM Network in the world offering users the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin at thousands of BTM and BDCheckout locations. We currently trade on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol BTM.  Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management & Security:

Administer, secure, and enhance cloud infrastructure primarily within Microsoft Azure. Manage identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring robust security policies and compliance. Oversee mobile and endpoint device management utilizing Microsoft Intune and Jamf for comprehensive asset and application control. Configure, monitor, and maintain production-level VPNs and network infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime and security.

Operational Excellence:

Establish, track, and report KPI and SLA metrics for internal teams and external service providers to ensure optimal service delivery. Monitor transactional and operational systems performance, quickly identifying and resolving bottlenecks. Regularly review and enhance security posture through vulnerability assessments, remediation plans, and compliance audits.

Technical Leadership:

Actively participate in providing input on infrastructure enhancements, scalability, and best practices. Clearly articulate infrastructure strategies, associated costs, risks, and priorities to non-technical leadership. Continuously improve infrastructure through feature additions, performance tuning, and innovative automation.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant IT operations and infrastructure experience. 2+ years of direct experience managing technical resources, including internal and offshore teams. Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure infrastructure management and cloud security best practices. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), including user lifecycle management, conditional access, MFA, and identity protection strategies. Proven expertise with endpoint management tools: Microsoft Intune for Windows/Mobile device management and Jamf for Mac device management. Solid experience configuring, managing, and securing VPNs, firewalls, and networks. Experience managing containerized environments and microservices architecture. Strong experience implementing security scanning and remediation procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure Solutions Architect Certification or similar advanced Azure certification. Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and scripting infrastructure automation solutions (PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible). AWS cloud infrastructure and certification preferred.
