Web3 Capital Markets Analyst

Job Description:

21Shares is eager to hire a Capital Markets Analyst to provide internally and externally trading content and analysis to support the distribution of 21shares ETPs. The role is an entry level position to help support the growing business of 21Shares within the capital markets team. This position is located at our Zurich office.

What You Will Do:

• Provide data analysis on the ETP/ ETF trading landscape in Europe.
• Automate and improve existing Capital markets trading reports to provide greater business intelligence.
• Develop tools to provide pre-trade analysis for 21Shares ETPs to sales teams and clients.
• Work closely with the data team to further build internal database to support ETP distribution in Europe.
• Identify trades and trends in the market to support distribution and product teams.
• Help monitor 21Shares ETP trading on and off exchanges.
• Assist the team with various analysis request from Authorised Participants, market makers, clients, and sales team.

Capital Markets - Trading and execution

• Monitor 21Shares and competitors trading volume and net new assets.
• Provide regular trading updates internally on new launches and key trends observed in the market.
• Assist the team to ensure highest market quality for 21Shares ETP by monitoring market makers monthly performance.
• Assist the distribution team to ensure smooth trading into 21Shares ETP for end-clients.

Capital Markets - Data analysis

• Development and maintenance of existing capital markets data analysis reports.
• Build in collaboration with the data team a robust internal data base to keep tracks of key metrics for cryptocurrency ETPs.
• Help to create and maintain a dashboard with ETP ownership identification.
• Coordination with research and marketing to provide trading data required on preparation of presentations and sales materials.

Key Requirements:

• The drive and motivation to build an extraordinary
• A strong interest in exchanges traded products, data analysis and cryptocurrency.
• Ideally previous experience in a data analyst role or trading related position.
• The ability to navigate and coordinate with various groups within the organization.
• The ability to translate data into actionable information for the business.
• Strong skills in VBA and python required to develop internal tools to support the European Distribution Team.
