Web3 Controller / Head of Accounting

We are building the Accounting division of our Finance Team. We are looking for a Controller / Head of Accounting that will help build the infrastructure and processes that will support the hypergrowth of the company. This role will report directly to the CFO and will oversee all accounting, reporting, tax, and cash flow management functions for the company, including owning relationships with third-party service providers. This role will also involve web3 specific issues, such as token/wallet security. The best candidate may also need to "wear many hats" and support other functions in the Finance organization such as tax strategy and FP&A. This role will be the entirety of the in-house Accounting function in the near term but will have the opportunity to build the team and take on a leadership role in the medium term as the company scales.

• 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably with some CPA firm audit or tax experience and several years in a fintech or startup environment
• Ability and desire to be a self-sufficient contributor in a fast-moving start-up environment
• Passion for web3 and a strong knowledge base with respect to blockchain technology
