You'll be responsible for the reliability, performance, and security of Linera’s deployments—leveraging your expertise in blockchain infrastructure, distributed systems, and modern cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
Design, deploy, and maintain the infrastructure supporting Linera’s blockchain network across testnet and mainnet environments
Develop tools and automation for monitoring, alerting, and managing node deployments and network health
Collaborate with protocol engineers to ensure smooth upgrades, network stability, and scalability
Support validators and community node operators with documentation, troubleshooting, and onboarding
-
Contribute to incident response and establish best practices for security, reliability, and performance in a decentralized infrastructure
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles, preferably with a focus on distributed systems and/or blockchain networks
Strong proficiency with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, or similar) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
Familiarity with Linux systems, networking, and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Solid programming skills for automation and tooling. Familiarity with Rust appreciated.
Deep understanding of observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and logging pipelines
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first, open-source environment
