Design program managers (DPMs) are essential in helping their teams strategize, define, track, and deliver work across our client's vast portfolio. DPMs excel at being collaborators, problem solvers, and dot connectors while having direct impact on the user experience by establishing and facilitating design processes and frameworks along the product lifecycle and providing communication and visibility.
This role will collaborate closely with all disciplines in their XD organization including design, content and research, as well as their product and engineering partners. Knowledge of and experience in enterprise product design and product development lifecycle is crucial.
Within the Experience Design (XD) org, Design Operations exists to help consistently deliver high-quality design at scale, streamline their processes, orchestrate communication and ceremonies, develop their practices, drive professional development, and serve as a catalyst for how we achieve their vision of a design-led culture across the entire organization.

Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working as Design or UX Program Manager for an in-house product team or comparable experience shipping products and projects with design team
- Comfortable coordinating and advocating for design activities and application of human-centered design methodologies.
- Proficient in a range of methods for facilitating the gathering and synthesizing of diverse insights in complex, ambiguous problem spaces.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with design and project management tools like Figma, Jira and Miro.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the basic structure of design programming within a product area or areas including: prioritization alignment, team engagement, work scoping and tracking, leading communications and team rituals.
- Define and implement processes to improve team execution and delivery including resolving actual or potential gaps in resourcing for projects and recommend strategies to mitigate.
- Organize and run team rituals and cadences including design critiques, backlog reviews and feasibility assessments with their design systems team and engineering partners.
- Anticipate and recognize bottlenecks in work processes between teams and lead development of ongoing improvements.
General Responsibilities:
- Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities.
- Ensure implementation of policies and practices.
- Maintain budget and track expenditures/transactions.
- Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
- Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
- Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda.
- Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.).
- Prepare paperwork and order material. Keep updated records and create reports or proposals.
- Support growth and program development. Level III Senior resource with considerable and extensive experience.
