Web3 Director of IT

The Role

Provable is seeking a Director of IT to oversee and manage our technology infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and supporting the company's growth trajectory. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a passion for leveraging technology to drive efficiency and innovation within a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of our IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems, to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Oversee and critique the operational security protocols of all employees, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities to ensure robust safeguarding of organizational data and systems against internal and external threats.
• Oversee and provision service accounts and engineering credentials.
• Source, evaluate, and manage vendors for IT services, hardware, and software solutions, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with company objectives.
• Develop and maintain inventory systems for IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals, to track usage, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with the operations team to develop and execute IT strategies that support business goals, drive innovation, and optimize operational efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role managing IT.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, vendor, and asset management.
• Experience in networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
• Experience with macOS, GSuite, Slack, Git, and MS Office.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the SF office 3-5 days a week.
