BlockFi is looking for a Director of Product Management, Activation & Engagement to join our growing team!
About Your Team
Our Product Management team works remotely and is regionally distributed. The User Journeys product team works cross functionally with Marketing, Design, Engineering and Analytics to create the easiest user experience for investors to buy, sell, and earn cryptocurrency. Our team grows BlockFi’s audience by obsessively analyzing acquisition, activation, engagement and retention data and along with qualitative feedback to ensure we continuously prioritize the voice of the customer and deliver the right value proposition. We are looking for a Product-Leader who is a proponent of reliability, passionate about the FinTech/Cryptocurrency landscape, and has experience leading high-performing, adaptable teams
Your Mission
As Director of Product Management for Activations & Engagement, you are responsible for driving a significant aspect of the BlockFi strategy. This team has an incredibly broad impact for deepening client relationships and growing revenue generating activities.
We are looking for a Product Leader who can continuously up-level our new team and user journeys. This role is perfect for leaders who take a portfolio-oriented product strategy, have an ownership mentality for driving impact, are data-informed to find insights, focus on customer empathy and product craft, and love to constantly see how much faster we can learn and execute. This person should thrive in managing and developing PM teams, and enjoy driving bold new bets themselves when needed.
The right person thrives in a high performance and fast-paced environment, working with a world class team of Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Client Service Agents, and Clients to challenge the status-quo every day.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap to deliver massive business results across activation, engagement and retention as they relate to BlockFi’s retail products.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align on product strategy and priorities that deliver measurable results
- Ideate and perform ongoing data-driven rapid a/b experimentation to produce ongoing incremental and measurable improvements at every stage of the pirate funnel
- Define and own the strategic vision and roadmap for our members’ growth and communicate it effectively and passionately across the company
- Partner with our product, engineering and data science teams to ship impactful product features focused on growth
- Build, lead and mentor a team of strong product managers focused on building new experiences, features and tools .
- Adjust direction rapidly, learning what levers are most effective. .
- Take our hypothesis driven/data-informed product culture to the next level and ensure that we’re representing our users’ voice in all product decisions
- Partner with our product and marketing content teams to develop the content platform strategy and create a rich content experience for our members.
- Partner with product marketing to develop a clear member communication strategy.
- Act as a role model and an advocate for our agile and servant leadership culture values
Your Expertise
- 10+ years of Product Management experience in consumer, high-growth, SaaS companies
- 3+ years of progressive leadership experience, hiring, mentoring and growing PMs
- Experience in Banking/Financial services a plus
- Solid executive presence and ability to manage across all levels in the organization
- Solid grasp of market dynamics in the subject areas and keen ability to assimilate and deploy the best practices
- Maintain composure and tact under pressure
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize and communicate complex information effectively
- Individual works autonomously with ongoing supervision from manager and leadership
- Prioritization of features in product roadmap in partnership with technology, then execution
- Extensive experience with martech solutions including Customer Data Platforms (i.e Segment), A/B Testing (i.e Launch Darkly), Product Analytics (i.e Amplitude), and more
- Solid grasp of market dynamics in the subject areas and keen ability to assimilate and deploy the best practices
