Head Of (Crypto) Cloud and DevOps Operations

Tangany, based in Munich, is a highly innovative fintech company that offers a market-leading b2b solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. cryptocurrencies, tokenized securities, NFTs). Our solution is already employed by more than 40 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority, BaFin.

Tasks

• Take technical responsibility for our Azure cloud powering our market-leading blockchain software solution
• Improve the availability and maintainability of our SaaS products and infrastructure. Harden the intercommunication of our core cloud services
• Oversee and expand the implementation of testing, building, monitoring, and alerting in the cloud. Implement security measures in collaboration with our experts
• Monitor and optimize the cost and benefit of our cloud services usage
• Provide top-notch documentation resources for internal and regulatory consumption
• Build and expand our blockchain node and staking environment
• Build and lead a team of passionate blockchain enthusiasts. Onboard and coach upstarting DevOps and cloud technicians

Requirements

• Drive for building a blockchain infrastructure solution in a dynamic market
• Leadership experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment
• Proven track record of building and maintaining scaling, highly-automated solutions on Azure or comparable cloud environments
• Several years of administration experience of Linux and Windows Server VMs
• Strong foundations on implementation of cloud security practices
• Initiative and flexibility for market development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent German or English
• Computer science or scientific computing degree or comparable qualification
