Position Title: 

Head of Finance/Chief Financial Officer (CFO) 

 

Location: 

Dubai/Remote 

 

Reports To: 

Co-CEO 

 

Job Summary: 

FreedX is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial strategy and operations. The CFO will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring the financial health of our cryptocurrency exchange. This role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and 

experience in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy to support growth and profitability. 

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. 

• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements. 

• Capital Management: Manage the company’s capital structure and ensure adequate liquidity. 

• Investor Relations: Maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. 

• Financial Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including market, credit, and liquidity risks. 

• Operational Efficiency: Implement and oversee financial controls and operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance. 

• Team Leadership: Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. 

 

Qualifications: 

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role in the cryptocurrency or financial services industry. 

 

Education: 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. CPA, CFA, or MBA is highly desirable. 

 

Skills: 

• Strong financial and strategic planning skills. 

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities. 

• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. 

• Proficiency in financial software and tools. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
