Web3 Head of Growth & Marketing

Goldfinch is a decentralized credit protocol that is using crypto to empower financial inclusion around the world. Our vision is to build a global, decentralized network that allows anyone to be a lender, not just banks.
Since announcing the protocol in January 2021, the loan book has doubled every 2 months to over $100M in active loans. Goldfinch now serves hundreds of thousands of people and businesses via its borrowers across three continents and 20+ different countries. And we're just getting started.
As the Head of Marketing at Warbler Labs, you will help define and execute on the strategy, messaging, and channels for all things marketing at Goldfinch. You enjoy switching from high level strategy to tactical details. You have a knack for media and community. You will build awareness and help position the brand to drive value for Warbler Labs' products.
Responsibilities

• Lead defining the Warbler Labs brand narrative, and creating and implementing a marketing strategy
• Determine the best ways to position Goldfinch and relay Goldfinch’s value proposition across various customer types including Borrower, Backers, LPs, and other stakeholders
• Own product marketing to plan, manage, and execute marketing support for product launches
• Generate a social media strategy and manage a content calendar across platforms including Twitter, Medium, Substack, Linkedin, Reddit and others
• Generate content including tweets, threads, blog posts for Warbler and for the Goldfinch Foundation
• Identify and negotiate arrangements with influencers / communities / education outlets
• Propose new channels for protocol growth in cooperation with the Warbler Community and Business Development teams
• Source, negotiation with, and manage contractors and marketing agencies to support on campaigns, content generation or other initiatives
• Occasionally attend conferences and coordinate sponsorships to promote the Goldfinch protocol
• Establish and track metrics for success

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience product or brand marketing at a software or crypto company
• Passionate about the Goldfinch mission!
• Strong knowledge of DeFi and DeFi marketing tactics
• Experience negotiating with influencers and other partners
• Cross-functional experience working with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects
• Outstanding written communication skills
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and find solutions to challenging problems
• Experience and talent with copywriting a big plus
