Scope of the role

An exciting opportunity to spend a summer with our trading and quant dev team in London as an intern, with the possibility of a full-time role for exceptional candidates on completion of your 10 weeks. The role is based in our new office in the City.

Interns will be placed within our trading and quant dev team with a focus on Options, Time Series Analysis, Exchange Trading or Mid-price Calibration.

We are looking for

Technical undergraduates studying Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or a STEM subject who are on track for a first class degree.

Students undertaking a postgraduate course (MSc) are also welcome to apply

  • Ability to code in at least one of Java, Python or C++/Rust
  • Knowledge of querying a database
  • Competency in mathematics including statistics
  • Interest in the intersection of financial markets and technology
  • Familiarity with modern software development life cycle (TDD, version control)
  • Experience with KDB or other time series database would be a bonus
  • Interest in crypto markets (Ce-Fi, De-Fi) would be a bonus. If you have experience trading crypto let us know
  • Experience interacting with crypto data products (Etherscan, Arkham, Glassnode) would be a bonus
  • Willingness to work in the office five days a week

If you have some but not all of the above don’t worry. In general we’d prefer engagement, eagerness to learn and cooperation to technical brilliance. We plan on teaching the latter anyway.

Please indicate a preference below and apply below with a brief cover letter outlining your motivation, relevant skills and experience.

Please note: Your programming skills will be tested during the interview process
