Web3 Lead Smart Contract Engineer

We are looking for a lead smart contract engineer to take the reigns on leading our team of smart contract engineers and driving the next iterations of our smart contract developed on Ethereum, Layer 2, and other popular NFT chains to continue innovating with us!

About the role

As the lead smart contract engineer, you will be responsible for leading and building a range of new developments, aspects, and technical enhancements to the fractional protocol(s), which may include:

• Continued work on how to gamify the fractional collecting experience
• Experimenting with different ways to lock fractional tokens (ERC-721s, ERC-1155s)
• Working on the math and logic needed to modify calculations of the current fractional protocol smart contract, such as setting the reserve price to be the median of people's votes as opposed to the mean
• Building support for Optimism and Arbitrum
• Bridging support for other networks not solidity-based (e.g., Flow/Cadence, Solana/Rust)
• Developing new smart contracts not yet hypothesized
• Be able to guide and mentor our stellar team of smart contract developers

What we’re looking for

• 2+ years of development experience with production-level Solidity code
• Prior experience in leading/mentoring software engineering teams
• Deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine
• Prior experience in deploying complex smart contract systems to the Ethereum mainnet
• Well versed in understanding all the attack vectors
• Deep understanding of various DeFi protocols
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and product management to understand requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
• Ability to derive the information from a research paper, whitepaper, technical paper, litepaper, etc.
• Excellent writing skills and the ability to drive via influence
• Can operate with a high degree of autonomy and should be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Having experience in a start-up environment
• Experience with EIPs and structuring proposals
• Experience leading a team and hiring
• Formal verification
