Compensation: $75k - $95k

Rubix.io is looking for an experienced full-stack developer to serve as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and provide technical leadership in transitioning current developer-led project to market-ready product.
You will join Rubix C-Level team with experienced CEO, CMO, COO and play a critical role in planning and executing a GTM strategy for Latin America.
Professionalism, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen are essential - as is the flexibility to meet challenges along the way when things do not go exactly as planned.
This position is for an experienced full-stack developer to make the leap to CTO as much as it is a role open to an ambitious CTO with full-stack skills looking for an opportunity to grow.
Compensation:
This CTO role is a remote position which requires a consistently scheduled, dedicated 25 hrs p/work week.
The selected applicant will be hired under a contract agreement for 25 hrs p/wk (Part Time) with a salary that is commensurate with experience with a range of $6000 to $8000 p/mo.
Responsibilities:
- Assess present platform and app to identify existing needs
- Develop the company’s strategy for using technological resources
- Identify opportunities for technological innovation to gain a competitive edge
- Evaluating and implementing new systems and infrastructure
- Create and implement plan - roadmap to progress tech towards company goals
- Own development of system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
- Analyzes Data to Facilitate Operations
- Document technical strategy and platform
- Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance
- Ensure technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely
- Build quality assurance and data protection processes
- Hands-on technology contribution
- Lead tech team
- Manage relationships with technical partners
- Communicate technology solution to peers, stakeholders, public
- Ensures Data & Privacy Safety
- Oversee maintenance is conducted
- Participate in team meetings / internal communications
Requirements and skills:
- Knowledgeable of blockchain architecture, smart contracts, application development software
- Proven work experience in crypto, blockchain, or fintech industry of 3+ yrs
- Project / product / team management experience of 3+ yrs
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skill sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Excellent English proficiency
