About The Team
Our User Journeys team within the Product Management organization works cross functionally with Design, Research, Engineering, Marketing, Client Service, and Analytics to create the easiest user experience for clients to buy, sell, and earn cryptocurrency. Our team grows BlockFi's audience by obsessively analyzing acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention data along with qualitative feedback to ensure we continuously prioritize the voice of the customer and deliver the right value proposition. Your Mission
We're looking for a Product Manager, Engagement & Retention, who is experienced at discovering, building, and launching product initiatives that drive user engagement and retention. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies in the areas of (but not limited to) activation, personalization, notifications, rewards, etc. in order to build an engaging ecosystem that helps grow our business..
You will work as part of a cross-functional team who's empowered and given the responsibility to increase engagement and retention working with the product teams, marketing, engineering, UX design, and customer service. You will work with a team that believes in discovery over solution, experimentation over rushing to build, and data-driven decisions over gut-feel.

Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with dedicated Engineering, UX Design, Product Mgt. and Marketing to build the next generation of customer engagement, retention and personalization capabilities
- Develop and maintain strong channels of communication up and down the organization to keep relevant partners aware of and informed about product strategy and progress towards established retention and engagement goals and KPIs
- Identify key drivers of engagement to increase usage growth, expansion, and retention and drive execution through iterative testing and learning
- Represent the customer, be the champion and voice of other internal teams and customers, and bring the customer's voice into the creation process
- Own requirements, specifications, and release plans
- Ship minimum-loveable-products that allow us to test our hypotheses while delivering a quality customer experience
- Align and influence PMs, designers and engineers to enhance existing product features to increase user engagement (e.g. drive in-product analytics, tours and onboarding to improve feature adoption and visibility of usage)
- Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments, personas, and advocate relentlessly for the best product user experience on their behalf – through market research, experimentation, user testing, and data analysis
- Deliver customer-centric data needs to support internal teams, specifically customer success, sales and product teams
Your Expertise
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management working a rapidly scaling environment
- 2+ years of experience building consumer mobile applications
- Strong experience leveraging data (both qualitative and quantitative) to inform your decisions and help others inform theirs. You know how to extract insights from data and synthesize user feedback into actions.
- You are passionate about the fintech space and democratizing finance; crypto enthusiasts and novices welcome alike!
- Experience with lean prototyping techniques to validate hypotheses as fast as possible.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills (English)
- Maintain composure and tact under pressure
- Able to work independently while maintaining transparency and collaboration with a larger team
- Advocate for the voice of the customer and user experience.
