The Starknet Foundation is a new organisation established to support the development of Starknet, a state-of-the-art layer 2 blockchain network built on top of Ethereum. Our mission is to unlock Ethereum’s scalability and efficiency, making decentralized applications more accessible and effective. We are seeking an experienced Product Manager from a blockchain or web3 background to help manage our technical ecosystem growth, roadmap and strategy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the performance of multiple teams, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring alignment with the broader ecosystem roadmap. This role requires strong technical acumen, ideally in the Starknet ecosystem, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage relationships across a diverse set of stakeholders.
This position offers a unique opportunity to build the Starknet ecosystem, working at the intersection of all partnership teams, the Foundation, Cairo and ZKP technology. If you are passionate about driving innovation and fostering collaboration in the Web3 space, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of blockchain technology, zero-knowledge proofs, and related technical concepts.
• Collaborate with development teams to assess technical feasibility and guide the implementation of features aligned with the ecosystem roadmap.
• Evaluate the performance of multiple cross-functional teams working on various aspects of the product (operating as a team of teams).
• Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to ensure teams are aligned with the overall product and ecosystem goals.
• Work closely with the leadership team to understand and contribute to the broader ecosystem roadmap.
• Ensure that individual team roadmaps align with the overall strategic vision and goals (and to help form it where it is lacking).
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, particularly external partners, and contributors to the open-source community.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to bridge the gap between development and business objectives.
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of product features and overall product performance.
• Drive continuous improvement within teams and foster a culture of innovation and adaptability.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant field - Computer Science, Engineering, and/or Business.
• Experience as a Product Manager in the blockchain or Web3 space.
• Track record of successfully managing complex, technical products with multiple teams.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology, decentralized systems, and zero-knowledge proofs.
• Ability to understand and discuss technical complexities with development teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with diverse teams and external partners.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to align teams with broader strategic objectives.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving Web3 ecosystem.
