Web3 Remote NFT Development Consultant

Part Time (with a potential transition to full time based on project needs) 

As the Development Consultant you will play a pivotal role in guiding our project through the various NFT development stages. Your expertise will encompass a wide range of responsibilities including smart contract deployment, minting phase strategy, implementation of anti-botting/whale measures, protection of the collector, and ensuring project success to the best of your ability. This is your chance to join an upcoming studio with a plan of world domination. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Smart Contract Deployment:

• Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts tailored to the specific requirements of the project.
• Ensure smart contracts are secure, efficient, ahead of the market and compliant with relevant standards.
• Provide expertise on IPFS or other relevant storage solutions.
• Ensure cross-chain functionality.

 2. Enable dynamic content updates: 

• Develop and implement smart contract logic that allows NFT attributes or content to be updated post-distribution. 
• Ensure the updates are safe, and do not compromise the authenticity of the NFT or otherwise result in compatability issues.
• Facilitate user-generated modifications which allow updates within predefined parameters.

 3. Anti-Botting/Whale Measures:

• Implement measures to prevent bot manipulation and whale dominance during the minting phases and beyond.
• Utilise techniques such as CAPTCHA, gas price limits, and randomised transaction requirements to foster a fair and inclusive environment for collectors.

 4. Protection of the Collector:

• Advise on best practices for safeguarding collectors' interests, including transparency in project communication, intellectual property strategy, rights management, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
• Work closely with the managing team to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and consumer protection laws.
• Commitment to ethical standards, including considerations for the environmental impact of NFT minting and transactions.

 5. Minting Phase Strategy:

• Work closely with the marketing team to devise strategies for the minting phase of the project, including pricing structures, token distribution mechanisms, and scarcity tactics.
• Optimise the minting process to maximise engagement and revenue generation.

 6. KPI-driven Project Success:

• Define and track KPIs to measure the success of NFT projects, including metrics such as sales volume, secondary market activity, collector satisfaction, and community engagement.
• Utilise data analytics and feedback mechanisms to continuously optimise project performance and drive towards key objectives.

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience in blockchain development including proficiency with multiple relevant programming languages, with a focus on NFTs and smart contracts.
• A comprehensive understanding of existing/emerging technologies within the space.
• In-depth understanding of Ethereum and other relevant blockchain platforms.
• Familiarity with decentralized finance (DeFi) concepts and protocols.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic environments.
• Passion for innovation and staying abreast of emerging trends in blockchain technology and digital assets.
• Understanding of GDPR.
