Web3 Security Engineer (DevSecOps)

Who You Are:
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our IT, Infrastructure & Security Team. You will be responsible for advising and implementing security best practices throughout our software development lifecycle (SDLC). This will include engaging other teams throughout the organization to assist in threat modeling and coordinating security reviews. You will also manage and implement security tools on behalf of other teams. You should feel comfortable taking initiative to deeply understand various teams requirements, and be able to recommend and implement solutions to keep the business moving forward.

What You’ll Do:

• Understand Blockchain and Blockchain Protocols.
• Partner with Blockchain Infrastructure team lead and Product Security for new threat-modeling initiatives.
• Write infrastructure as code to streamline the creation security tools around proof of stake validators.
• Monitor observability/monitoring platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux server management, administration, and hardening/security.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems.
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience managing secure and highly available hybrid cloud/on-prem Linux environments.
• AWS - cloud architecture and design experience.
• Linux command line expertise.
• Network design, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience creating and participating in security reviews and threat modeling.
• Monitoring and Metrics experience in Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
• Experience managing and implementing Infrastructure as Code using appropriate technologies such as: Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
• Experience interacting with Kubernetes clusters using eksctl, helm, rancher, etc.
