Job Description

The Service Delivery team acts as the front door to the Integration Services (IS) team (which includes the Business Technology, Data, and Workforce Management teams) and seeks to provide and facilitate excellent solutions and services to the Cash Customer Operations (CCO) team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll work closely with partners across the business to identify problem statements, elicit and document functional requirements, and scope projects before handing them off to the relevant IS teams. You are a connector and translator, who can get to the root of problems and facilitate conversations between groups with disparate knowledge bases and experiences.

You Will:

  • Partner with CCO business owners to clarify project scope and requirements
  • Identify and problem solve for issues that prevent an optimal experience for advocates and customers
  • Work on moderately complex business and technical problems, analyzing and evaluating current business methods and procedures for improvement
  • Design and implement new methods, procedures, and systems (both automated and manual) to improve the productivity, processing, and flow of information with our customers
  • Collaborate with leads to prioritize requests and plan based on team capacity
  • Create and maintain thorough, up-to-date, functional and technical systems documentation for projects, design, customization and maintenance actions taken
  • Design, execute, manage and document user stories and test plans. Take appropriate actions to address defects
  • Negotiate winning solutions for customers and the organization
  • Manage multiple efforts simultaneously and adjust to changes in direction as needed to meet business objectives
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of roadmaps for Integration Services teams
  • As needed for smaller project efforts, develop project plans and monitor project progress

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility
  • At least 5 years of in-depth, hands-on experience with consultation, design, implementation and maintenance of an enterprise class business system.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, complex efforts simultaneously and adjust to changes in direction as needed to meet business objectives
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects a must

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600

Zone B: USD $119,300 - USD $145,900

Zone C: USD $113,000 - USD $138,200

Zone D: USD $106,800 - USD $130,600
