SO YOU WANT TO JOIN CANDY?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Operations Associate to join our Product and Design team with a strong background in Product Experience. You will be responsible for collaborating with our experience specialists at Candy and working closely with our professional sports leagues. Our Product and Design team helps us be successful by working directly with our Head of Design and Chief Experience Officer to focus on challenging, high-impact projects across many departments. We want someone who has a passion for detail, solving problems and above all, has a genuine love for Candy, who we are, and what we do.
AS OUR MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, YOU WILL...
- You will report to the Director of Product & Design Operations
- Manage strategic programs that improve the Design team's efficiency, influence, and productivity
- Partner with Experience leadership to improve ways of working, hiring, and onboarding
- Promote and help drive consistency of our holistic design process
- Work with our designers and other partners on our product development teams to plan projects, define and meet milestones, assess risks, and improve communication
- Build relationships with the designers and raise their concerns to design leadership in a detailed and applicable >
- Develop and seek feedback on solutions to common problems, implement the resulting solution
WHO ARE YOU?
- A passion for building, tinkering with, and improving complex operational systems
- Demonstrated ability to build an end-to-end program-- setting up processes and mechanisms, defining program requirements, establishing design priorities, and delivering against key milestones
- Helped teams of designers create a process to clarify ambiguous problems
- Excellent understanding of product design and the software design process
- You are uncompromisingly service-minded towards our users and your colleagues
- You are open to learning from others and growing together to help them learn—and have them help you grow
- 3+ years of relevant design operations, producer, or design program management experience at a SaaS, product-driven company
