Your Mission 

We are looking for a Senior Manager, HR Mergers & Acquisitions to join our fast-growing People Operations team. You will be supporting the team to drive and lead HR due diligence and integration projects globally. We require this individual to have a HR Project Background, Org Effectiveness and Change Management experience to further help us with HR Transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR M&A due diligence activities by actively representing HR on Corporate M&A deal calls
  • Own the HR diligence workstream and be the primary liaison with Corporate M&A, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams, including due diligence report preparation, purchase agreement reviews, various costing and saving analyses, equity treatments and employment law implications
  • Ensure seamless transition of the deals to HR partners or Integration Lead, including support during the period between signing and deal closing period
  • Maintain the M&A framework for HR, and evolve as needed to meet shifting priorities and structures, ensuring key accountabilities are known and communicated to partners
  • Build and maintain the HR M&A playbook and maintain tools that drive consistency, accuracy, and speed
  • Build team capability and expertise both within direct team and when liaising with other partners across HR.
  • Work closely with external consultants during diligence phase as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience delivering M&A advisory or transformation projects in a fast moving, agile organization, management consulting, venture capital / private equity, or related experience delivering global HR M&A advisory or transformation projects Expertise across: Compensation, Equity, Benefits, Organizational Design, Change Management, Human Resources, Strategic communications, International Employment Laws, Workforce Transition and Culture assessment & Integration;
  • Previous experience in M&A in the U.S. and internationally, e.g., EU, APAC, etc., working for a technology company preferred
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver M&A engagements across the M&A lifecycle including due-diligence, pre-close, and post-close merger integration, or separation Strong relationship management skills, including partnering with senior executives to define how they approach M&A – in alignment with the corporate strategy Knowledge and interest in key industry trends and ability to guide on concepts for M&A engagements including cost analyses, , employment implications and synergy identification and capture
  • Fluent in multiple languages (French, Spanish, etc.) a plus
