Web3 Smart Contract Developer

Tracer DAO is an open-source, smart contract protocol for derivatives. For decades, financial institutions have been able to manage their risk with powerful financial tools. However, the opportunity to access these powerful tools has not been one which individual citizens could easily exploit. The birth of Tracer now means that anyone, regardless of wealth, location or status can better manage their financial health from the convenience of their smartphone. Tracer’s gift to the Individual is better access to financial freedom and more meaningful ways to manage risk.

Tracer DAO is building a suite of template derivative smart contracts, starting with Perpetual Pools, a derivative contract which does not exist in traditional finance. Tracer smart contracts provide a framework for parties seeking to securely offer or trade derivatives on any supported underlying instrument.

As a Senior Solidity Developer you will be leading a team of developers to design and build smart contracts for Tracer DAO. It is expected that you have experience on a blue-chip financial protocol on the Ethereum blockchain and have a thorough understanding of security and solidity. You will be given a high level of ownership over your work, the opportunity to expand your knowledge of a fast-growing industry, and the chance to help build the decentralised infrastructure of the future.

Your Mission

• Work with and lead our team of engineers to design and build smart contracts for Tracer DAO
• Conduct technical research and architecture design for Tracer DAO
• Engage with the Tracer DAO technical community to discuss the implementation of Tracer
• Lead Mycelium developers following a two-week agile sprint cycle
• Learn, research, document and innovate as you build

Requirements

• Experience with Solidity in a production (Ethereum mainnet) environment
• High attention to detail
• Experience working as part of a distributed team
• Experience with Git and standard Git workflows
• 3+ years software development experience (any language)
• Availability to have a minimum of 4 of your daily work hours fall between 8am-7pm AEST
