• The team

We’re a remote team of 4 crypto enthusiasts from UCL, Imperial, Waterloo and DePaul University. We have varying backgrounds in Data Science, Business, Finance and Marketing, yet we all work within the financial and defi sectors as Algorithmic Traders, Product Managers, Consultants and Analysts. We’ve been working on this project for nearly a year and we’re in the process of getting ready for our ICO. This will enable us to continue expanding and attain our clear goals and targets.

• Job Description

The smart contract developer role is to begin building the platform at the microstructure level. This is meant to put our ideas into practice and improve our chances of attaining initial investment. You’ll work closely with the founder and existing team. Specific projects include the creation of synthetic assets, a decentralized exchange (DEX), connecting oracles, building a token, structuring liquidity and bond pools, and more.

We can discuss projects most relevant to you, and if they’re completed successfully and you fit the team, there’ll be further projects to choose from or opportunities for you to propose new ideas. The role also offers optional training in algorithmic/manual trading or data analysis for those interested. You’ll also benefit by learning about the Crypto and DeFi markets and how they’re changing as we always discuss this in our meetings.

You’ll be given a detailed letter of reference upon meeting targets and achieving goals.

The role will be unpaid until we’re funded, as this project will be bootstrapped until then. Depending on the quality of work done during your time, a vested token allocation and rewarding bonus structure can be negotiated. We all work remotely so you can be based anywhere in the world. We can be flexible around your schedule.

• About You

We’re looking for focused and enthusiastic candidates with excellent programming skills. Ideal candidates are keen to apply their knowledge, willing to learn and are passionate about crypto and the world’s financial markets. There are 2 positions available for this role. • Requirements:

Fluency in the English language is vital.
This role is most suited to those with Computer Science/Software Engineering or related degrees but anyone is welcome to apply.
Excellent programming skills are key (Python and Solidity are a plus).
Knowledge of at least one of these ecosystems is important: Ethereum, Fantom, Terra.
Good communication skills to explain smart contract limits and concepts to non-developers.

• Responsibilities:

Complete projects within set time-frames.
Create succinct and well documented code.
Attend regular call meetings.
Help ideate optimizations to the protocol.
