Web3 Social Media Manager

As the Social Media Manager at Kava Labs you will be responsible for developing, posting and managing across all of our owned media channels. Your strong background in developing engaging social media content and maximizing the impact across multiple social and influencer platforms will contribute to the growth and success of our social media strategy. This is a US-based, full-time remote position.

We are a Layer 1 Blockchain company with a 100% distributed workforce with teams in the US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. While distributed, you will work alongside a team of world class crypto experts on an open-source project that transfers millions of dollars in assets daily, providing the financial primitives for the next evolution in crypto.

What You Will Do.

• Develop Kava’s social media strategy: Manage company social media channels. Design and implement Crypto/ Web 3 campaigns and activities around Kava’s user engagement by collaborating on the content calendar, engaging with other brands, influencers, and users across multiple platforms.
• Drive Social Listening and Market research: Leverage social media tools such as Crypto Twitter, Discord, Telegram, as well as posting schedule and hashtag tools to identify content trends and develop competitive analysis.
• Influence the community with your knowledge of the crypto space, it’s history and current news to engage users with accuracy and clarity.
• Drive interest and execute the strategy for big news, content releases, and community engagement. Maximize Kava’s website & blog ranking across major search engines.
• Work cross-functionally with content and product teams: collaborate to drive campaigns, coordinate around product launches and updates to increase engagement and evangelize for Kava.
• Speak for the Kava Labs brand outside of planned campaigns, immersing yourself in the conversation around brand awareness and what's happening in the crypto space

Who You Are

• 3+ years social media experience
• 1+ years in the crypto space on a marketing team
• 1+ years owning and building campaigns in conjunction with a marketing team.
• 1+ years leveraging Social Media tools, ideally as an administrator
• Demonstrate ability to navigate various social platforms’ native analytics capabilities and deliver informed strategies based on trends
• A proven ability to design and implement user engagement campaigns.
• A proven record of building a strong presence via social media channels .
• A self-starting and ambitious attitude who thrives in a startup environment.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
