The EAA Institutional engineering team in the Enterprise Applications & Architecture organization needs a Salesforce Software Engineer for help supporting our Institutional Operations team. Your focus will be to improve the overall client onboarding and servicing experience by improving internal employees' productivity, freeing their minds and time to focus on high-judgment tasks. You will be joining a small, agile and tight-knit team that is focused on delivering value. We are seeking individuals who thrive in a continuous-learning and high level-of-ownership environment.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): To be completed by all business teams except Eng.
- Help define a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our content delivery, observability and self-serve tools for Base support properties.
- Enhance/create tools that improve Coinbase’s ability to support developers building on Base including web content, search capabilities and Discord integrations.
- Create dependable user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable
- Build, test and ship new user-facing Identity experiences in modern tools like React, ES6, Flow, Styled Components, Jest and Webpack
- Prioritize and maintain engineering work and cross-BU interdependencies
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in Engineering tools, process, and workflows as well as brainstorming new methods of efficiency to support our key business partners
- Add positive energy in every meeting, and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction
What we look for in you (ie. job requirements): To be completed by all business teams except Eng.
- BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Sciences desired
- Experience in developing web apps with JavaScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React.js (3+ years)
- Experience with Contentful
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience leading uncertainty and changing requirements in a high-growth, startup environment
- Experience with using git collaboratively to develop new features
- Background working with Agile sprints, backlogs in Jira
- Experience Infrastructure tools such as Cloudflare, AWS, Docker, PagerDuty
- Knowledge of Rest API development, use cases and documentation
- Background in non-functional requirements like scalability, automation testing, and security
- Experience with Golang or other backend language

- Passionate about the crypto economy and DeFi
- Experience in the Financial industry
- Experience with Python, Node.js
