We are seeking a crypto-focused Senior Staking Analyst, with a startup mindset, who will be part of cross-functional teams and work across all departments within Tribal. This position is 100% remote, based in the US, and will report to the Chief Crypto Scientist.
As a Senior Staking Analyst you will...
- Research and analyze tokenomics models with a focus on staking incentive designs.
- Source blockchain data to evaluate models and the impact of concepts such as staking, burning, incentive systems,...etc.
- Analyze historical crypto market data and evaluate token price movements and potential staking returns.
- Design and propose crypto staking models to help optimize our current tokenomics.
- Produce thorough reports and presentations with clear recommendations on staking dynamics to provide actionable insights.
- Proactively stay up to date on market trends, opportunities, risks and staking incentive models.
- Diagnose issues on the fly and provide guidance with metrics and visualizations
- Build dashboards and expand Tribal’s crypto data capability
Who You Are
- 3+ years of experience in tokenomics research, staking models, incentive models, and crypto markets (professional crypto trading is a plus).
- Masters Degree or Ph.D. in Economics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or closely related field.
- Deep interest in crypto including rewards, CeFi, DeFi, GameFi, payments and/or exchanges.
- In depth knowledge of topics including but not limited to data science, game theory, behavioral economics, crypto staking incentive models, deflationary/inflationary models.
- Experience building and/or using Web3 tools and APIs for aggregating and analyzing blockchain data.
- Experience designing and/or evaluating tokenomics models including but not limited staking, burning, market making.
- Outstanding technical skills in R, Python, SQL,...etc
- Working with BI tools: Domo, Tableau, PowerBI or Looker (super plus!).
