About the Team
As a Technical Recruiting Evangelist, you will help to grow the Consensys brand by immersing yourself into the developer community and Ethereum ecosystem at a Global scale. You will engage with developers and create compelling and authentic resources such as demonstrations, documentation, how-to guides, blog posts, and articulating Consensys’ perks and benefits. Your goal is to convert users into candidates while representing the diversity efforts and goals that Consensys aspires to achieve. You will work closely with the Employer Brand team to streamline, augment, automate, and create a new paradigm of how we engage our community to drive awareness - leading to an increase in diversity hiring. Responsibilities:
- Be the Global voice and face of Consensys and lead our DEI efforts
- Be across all open roles and help to build awareness of career opportunities with ConsenSys
- Speak and present at conferences, webinars, and workshops with our existing DEI partners
- Identify new communities and partners that reflect our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
- Work closely with all employees to identify campaigns and candidate attraction opportunities
- Own the creation of blogs, articles, and other communication
- Establish on-going relationships with the talent team and hiring managers to be positioned to leverage any upcoming promotional opportunities
- Identify high potential developer communities, refine our messaging to attract new developers, and highlight gaps in the candidate experience for our hiring processes
- Build a deep knowledge of the Consensys’ products so as to articulate how they enable developers to our open positions
- Motivate developers to build blockchain applications using our tools thus creating products and systems that work for all
- Participate in the blockchain ecosystem and community, building strong relationships with engineers, architects, product managers, and founders
- In partnership with the Employer Brand Lead, stand up programs with ecosystem partners to efficiently scale awareness initiatives
- Define and own metrics to measure the success of our top of funnel candidates and outreach efforts with relation to attracting and participating in diverse candidate pools
- Synthesize and share feedback from the developer community and help People and Talent improve the candidate experience and interview process for these purposes
Skillset:
- 4+ years of experience in community engagement/developer relations, developer education, and business development
- You’ll have a working knowledge of developer blockchain tools and languages (eg. MetaMask, Solidity, etc)
- 6+ years experience in technical recruiting
- Blockchain knowledge and experience preferred
- Experience of working within cross-functional teams (Talent team, developer relations, product, marketing, support, etc)
- Comfortable in a start-up environment; you’ll have a mindset that done is better than perfect, many community projects are early and will have shifts in direction as we learn and grow
