About the Opportunity
Our mission is to help the next billion people experience the future of finance. We have offices in San Francisco, Miami, Malta, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, and while this role is listed in San Francisco, we are remote-first and believe in you working wherever you work best.
Okcoin's customer base is evolving as more everyday people embark on their crypto-finance journey. We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to help us with core research tasks such as organizing our research repository, scheduling interviews, managing incentives, and other user research activities.
What You’ll Achieve
  • Leading the charge with setting up a research repository in-house, from finalizing budget and procurement approvals with the department head to migrating past insights into a research repository, developing a tagging system, and working to implement across stakeholders and the Research team
  • Working alongside the Research team, department head, and Finance on timely budgeting, forecasting, and invoicing for Research projects and team growth initiatives
  • Scheduling research activities such as interviews and focus groups for international participants, across multiple time zones, and ensuring that customers participating in research receive the right prototypes and other stimuli to test
  • Figuring out the best incentive disbursement strategies, maximizing our current tools and processes, while also finding new ways to reward our customers for their thoughts via crypto, in alignment with international compliance and legal requirements
  • Proactively providing suggestions and ideas for how to up-level the operations of the Research team and optimize the execution, sharing out, and actionability of our insights
What We Look For In You
  • 2-3 years of administrative-centric experience; preference for dedicated Research Ops/Design Ops background
  • Experience with Research and Design tools such as UserTesting, Figma, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, Airtable, etc.
  • Actively seeking a fast-paced, constantly evolving work environment which is never boring nor predictable
Nice to Haves
  • Experience working with global teams across offices and timezones
  • Fluent in Mandarin
  • Strong foundational understanding of Bitcoin, crypto, DeFi, popular and up-and-coming crypto assets, the blockchain ecosystem, etc.
Who We Are
Okcoin is one of the world’s largest and fastest growing cryptocurrency exchanges. We help millions of people buy and sell bitcoin, and over 30 other crypto assets every day — but our work is a whole lot more than that. We’re building an inclusive future of finance, one that opens new opportunities to learn financial literacy, store value, and build wealth for everyone. We make it easy to buy and sell crypto and provide access to passive income earning opportunities.
Our growing UX Research team works to swiftly deliver research-backed insights regarding our current and potential users to stakeholders across Product, Experience, and Marketing teams. We directly contribute to the development and growth of Okcoin’s various product lines, as well as marketing and positioning campaigns. Additionally, we are charged with constantly measuring, testing, and iterating to optimize the overall cross-platform, global user experience. We are a multi-cultural and remote/decentralized team with a passion for making Bitcoin, crypto, and DeFi accessible to all.
