Web3/Blockchain Golang Engineer

Harmony is an open and fast blockchain for cross-chain DeFi, NFT and DAO.  Our mainnet runs Ethereum applications with 2-second transaction finality and 100 times lower fees. Our secure bridges offer cross-chain transfers with Ethereum, Binance and 3 other chains.

We are seeking for a Golang Engineer to join our engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design, document and implement quality backend architectures, services and tooling that leverage existing building blocks, infrastructure providers, cloud orchestration ore
• Develop high-quality, performant, modern, clean and readable code within tight deadlines
• Work with other team members collaboratively, contributing ideas that add value to our product roadmap and company goals
• Own the development and maintenance of the project from ideation to deployment
• Write reusable libraries and custom logic for blockchain state machines, ensure solid test coverage, and actively participate in code reviews

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in designing and implementing quality backend architectures
• 1-2 years experience working with Cosmos/Golang
• Strong knowledge of Cosmos Blockchain or Ethereum
• Strong architecture knowledge of cosmos SdK
• Exceptional problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with distributed systems architecture
• Basic knowledge of cryptographic primitives such as public/private keys, hash functions and Merkletrees
• Experience with GitHub or other developer collaborative tools
• Experience with optimizing program processor and memory utilization
