What you’ll be doing
- Be the first hired TPM and work with the core founding team to directly shape a new web3 consumer product
- Perform tasks including reading specifications, analyzing documents, creating project plans, determining project timelines within development cycles, creating milestones, roadmaps, creating tasks, and setting priorities
- Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency, and risks, and make clear decisions that are timely and in the best interests of the organization
- Work closely with the product design (UX/UI) and product development (engineering) teams as a project management partner to drive the execution and implementation of those features to completion
- Act as the main point of contact for status updates, requirements and priorities
- Assist with root cause analysis for defects and performance issues
- Daily collaboration with Engineering and Product
What we look for in you
- 2+ years of professional technical Project Management experience and bachelor's degree in a related product field (e.g. technical, design, or business background)
- Chinese mandarin and English proficiency
- Experience managing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile
- Full-stack understanding of how successful consumer products are created -- you may not be the best at each, but should have familiarity with software engineering, product design, product strategy, go-to-market / marketing campaigns, and more
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with engineers and designers
- Be comfortable discussing with engineers, understand the technology and develop a good intuition to aid on the decision making process
- Experienced in gathering requirements, developing specifications, and driving execution
- Strong communication and leadership skills to express not only what and how, but why
- Low ego, collaborative, and open minded
Nice to haves
- Professional involvement in NFTs, blockchain, and/or web3 -- if no professional experience, strong interest in the above is a must
- Professional experience managing internet products (e.g. chat, messaging, feeds, etc.)
- Ability to independently ideate and drive product direction from scratch or improve features, all with a user-centered design process
