What you will be doing

• Translation
• Accurately and fluently translate source-language content (primarily English) into French, ensuring fidelity to the original meaning, tone, and context. (Monthly volume: approx. 105,000 source words).
• Understand industry-specific terminology and product context to ensure high-quality and domain-appropriate translations.
• 2. Review & Localization Quality
• Review translated documents and online content to ensure localization accuracy, adherence to language norms, and context relevance.
• Pay attention to grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall readability to enhance the professionalism and clarity of the final content.
• 3. Cross-Cultural Communication
• Demonstrate strong intercultural communication skills to accurately interpret and localize content in line with cultural expectations and norms.
• Serve as a cultural bridge to prevent miscommunication and foster better understanding and collaboration across teams.
• 4. Knowledge Building & Terminology Management
• Continuously enhance subject-matter expertise and terminology knowledge relevant to the crypto and financial sectors.
• Proactively update and maintain multilingual glossaries and translation memories for specific products and services.
• Adapt to evolving language demands and improve translation skills on an ongoing basis.
• 5. Additional Responsibilities
• Actively participate in team operations and follow guidance from team leads or management to ensure smooth project delivery and collaboration.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in French, Translation, Linguistics, or related fields.
• Native or near-native proficiency in French; fluent in English or Chinese. Candidates from Asia with a French major are preferred.
• Proven experience in translation or localization; certification in translation or language proficiency is a plus.
• Proficient in CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, Smartling, etc.
• Experience in translating content related to finance, securities, futures, or cryptocurrency trading is highly desirable.
• Strong sense of responsibility, timely communication, ability to learn quickly, and excellent teamwork and coordination skills.
