Carbon X Tons SA is a pioneering Swiss company leveraging blockchain for climate action, including the creation of CXTONS, a collateralized carbon stable coin. The CXTONS token allows users to buy, sell and offset carbon emissions at a global base price determined in independent regulated markets. Our mission is to empower individuals and organizations to participate in the global transition to a low-carbon economy. 

The CXT Platform has been developed externally by a leading blockchain engineering team in Switzerland. We are now ready for product launch and looking for a Web3 Engineer to takeover responsibility for maintaining the trading platform and continued product development.  The ideal candidate will have expertise in NextJS (React), React Native, MongoDB and NestJS, broad experience with blockchain and interest in sustainable finance solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

As the CXT Web3 Engineer you will play a pivotal role in product launch, maintaining and continuing development of products,the platform administration panel and the platform user panel. 

• Build and manage the platform’s admin panel using NextJS (React), ensuring efficient admin workflows, advanced features, and data management tools.
• Develop a native app and integrate Web3 technologies for smooth and intuitive user interactions on the User Panel using NextJS (React)
• Use MongoDB to handle data storage and retrieval, optimizing for performance and scalability.

Web3 Integration

• Integrate Web3 functionality into both the admin and user panels, enabling blockchain-based features such as wallet connections, smart contract interactions, and decentralized storage solutions.
• Ensure that blockchain interactions are secure, efficient, and provide a smooth user experience.

Performance and Security

• Implement best practices for performance optimization, ensuring the platform is highly responsive and scalable.
• Ensure that the platform adheres to best practices in Web3 security, including secure wallet management, data privacy, and authentication.

Testing and Debugging 

• Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests to ensure the robustness of both front-end and back-end features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime or bugs, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Requirements:
 
3+ years of experience in web3 development, with a strong focus on Next.js (React) for both admin and user panels.

• Hands-on experience working with NestJS for backend development and MongoDB for database management.
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies, including Ethereum, smart contracts, and dApps
• Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, and JavaScript/TypeScript for building modern web applications.
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including wallet integration (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect) and interacting with smart contracts.
