What we are looking for Newniverse is a disruptive start-up based in Dubai with the aim to create a new world order using blockchain technology in the journey to the metaverse. Founded by a seasoned senior team, we believe that decentralized infrastructure, social networks and organizations will fundamentally change our society and the relationship between individuals in a positive way and we want you to join us to build a new universe! We are currently recruiting a technically experienced and highly motivated Chief Technology Officer with a passion for blockchain and disruptive technologies (NFT crypto web3 DLT) technologies. We are looking for a strategic, fast-paced, problem-solver, customer-focused, yes-can-be-done attitude, capable of building a newly founded tech venture from scratch You will be part of a dynamic international team delivering stellar leadership in one of the most promising companies. Key Responsibilities: • Work closely with the CEO, founders and the Newniverse leadership to support the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company • Lead the strategy and execution for technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships • Design and set up the entire technology architecture and infrastructure. Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs. Oversee all system design and changes • Build and lead a high-performance team of top blockchain developers and operators • Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations • Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy customer satisfaction and financial targets • Create overall technology and security standards and practices and ensure adherence • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity • Work closely with Marketing & Sales, Product and Finance to define and deliver new products and enhancements • Develop a network within the relevant field of industry and community Requirements: • BSc or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field • MScPhD or equivalent can be an added advantage • Proven experience as a CTO or role that would lead to qualifications for a CTO position • Experience in BlockchainDLTSmart ContractCrypto tech stack and technological trends to build strategies • In-depth knowledge of web systems social networks architecture, design and application development. • Experience in a start-up and at least 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment • Experience in managing important budget and CAPEX plans • Experience in leading transformational teams and executing global and complex projects • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
