Heretic Ventures is seeking an early career or aspiring product manager to join a stealth generative AI consumer business that Heretic Ventures is launching.

The product manager will partner closely with the Head of AI Product to develop consumer-centric generative AI solutions. The role will be instrumental in shaping the company’s product strategy and end-to-end product execution. 

This is a unique opportunity to help build a billion-dollar company from the ground up while learning from successful repeat entrepreneurs and a team of powerful and experienced mentors and advisors. 

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of 3 days per week in-person in our sunny Presidio, SF office. The position is compensated with salary, benefits, and equity.

Heretic Ventures is a San Francisco-based venture studio ideating and launching new businesses in the creator economy, including those that capitalize on AI/ML technology. Heretic is run by Managing Partner Mariam Naficy, who founded and built the pioneering internet companies Minted and Eve.com. Heretic is backed by household names in Silicon Valley (investors and entrepreneurs), who act as the studio’s advisors both in selecting and in advising companies.

Responsibilities

• Own one of the product verticals within the company, encompassing product strategy, roadmap development, and execution of the roadmap with our AI and engineering teams 
• Maintain and uphold a high standard of quality for the product 
• Ship ongoing product enhancements to continually exceed user expectations and outpace competitors 
• Thoroughly understand user needs to deliver a delightful and transformative consumer experience 
• Analyze product performance through AI model performance assessment, qualitative user feedback, and quantitative product metrics, with a focus on delivering a magical experience for users 
• Forge strong partnerships with product leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to collaboratively design and implement solutions

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in product management, consulting, or banking 
• A keen interest in application of generative AI technologies 
• Excellent quantitative analysis skills and attention to details 
• A fearless approach to creating novel solutions and the ability to thrive in ambiguity 
• An entrepreneurial attitude with high ownership mentality, proactive attitude, and bias towards action
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
