<h2><strong>About the role</strong></h2>
The Crypto Movements team is building and managing supporting blockchain-interfacing projects at Robinhood. We support crypto transfers, Robinhood Connect, and staking at Robinhood. We aim to be a gateway for customers to interface with crypto in a safe and accessible manner along with providing a frictionless, innovative and cost-efficient experience that our customers love and have come to expect from us.
Your day-to-day will involve
- Building, testing, and releasing product-facing features with stringent correctness and scalability requirements; these features could be related to market data, trading, accounting, authentication, or security.
- Designing a solution with other engineers and the ops team to fix a scalability problem and then implement it
- Working with our frontend team to fine tune our REST API
- Collaborating with our data team to support millions of customers
About you
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Solid understanding of relational databases and transactions
- Good intuition for REST API design
- Familiarity with blockchain protocols or interest to learn
Bonus points
- Intimate familiarity of Python/Django or Go
Technologies we use
- Python/Django, Go as the main languages and frameworks of choice
- PostgreSQL as our primary data store, DynamoDB as a second store
- Redis and Memcached as our caching layer

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhoodâs equity plan.
