Project Description

We are looking for a Lead Engineer confident in picking up any technology and owning the entire software development lifecycle. From jumping into refining acceptance criteria to DevOps. Expect to grow a team under you after initial business milestones are hit

Responsibilities

• You will be focused on building a SaaS application that will allow retail brands to engage customer feedback, track user generated content, build early champions and coordinate product sample distribution.
• After the early deliverable, expect to jump in to build a loyalty ecosystem, most likely backed by a cutting edge blockchain Level 1 platform like Hyperledger, Avalanche or Ethereum.
• Expertise is not needed but a willingness to learn is!

Requirements

• Proven track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving
  environment

• A good attitude and ability to have some fun

• A minimum of 10 years software development experience

• 5+ years experience using JavaScript/React/Node

• Experienced with both relational (MySql, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL data structures

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc)

• Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, in particular Amazon Web Services

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and architecture patterns

• Understanding of an Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)

• Ability to define solutions, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility

• Proficient with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and
  automated integration tests

• Excellent communication skills

• Knowledgeable with version control systems (Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA)

• Experience with CD/CI and related workflow tools (CircelCI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
