Your mission:

We are seeking a DevOps Manager to lead our Market Data Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for managing real-time data feeds from financial exchanges and other sources, handling high volumes of critical market data such as stock prices, FX rates, and other trading information. As the DevOps Manager, you will guide the team in building, optimising, and maintaining a low-latency, high-performance infrastructure to ensure the seamless delivery of data. You will work closely with engineers, development teams, and leadership to implement best practices and foster a culture of reliability and operational excellence.


Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the DevOps team responsible for maintaining the real-time Market Data Infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and availability.

- Oversee the ingestion and processing of high-volume, low-latency market data feeds, ensuring efficient handling of real-time financial data.

- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, driving automation and operational efficiency.

- Ensure optimal performance of the complete stack - applications, containers, operating systems and networking focusing on real-time and low-latency environments, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

- Manage, mentor, and grow the DevOps team, providing guidance on best practices, technical excellence, and career development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategy with business goals and ensure operational support for new initiatives.

- Develop and monitor key performance metrics to track system reliability and team performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.


Minimum Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure roles, with 2+ years of experience leading or managing DevOps teams.

- Strong background in Linux (Debian) system performance, particularly in real-time, low-latency environments.

- Proven experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.

- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Groovy, and ArgoCD.

-  Experience operating workloads in Kubernetes and deploying applications with Helm.

- Hands-on experience with performance troubleshooting, system optimisation, and infrastructure automation.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and product teams.

- Fluency in Russian is required for effective communication within the team and across the company.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Python, Golang or similar languages for custom tooling and automation.

- Familiarity with Istio service mesh for microservices management and security.

- Good understanding of distributed system concepts, architectural patterns and challenges.

- Solid understanding of networking and its impact on system performance in a low-latency infrastructure.


It’ll also be an advantage if you have experience in:

- Finance experience or knowledge of Trading

- Knowledge of TradingView 😁
